WesternU students and faculty volunteer at flu shot clinic

Western University of Health Sciences College of Pharmacy (COP) faculty, staff and students volunteered at a drive-thru flu clinic at Pomona Catholic High School on Oct. 9, 2020 in collaboration with LA Care Health Plan.

WesternU Health Assistant Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services Christal Pham, PharmD, CDE, COP Associate Professor Micah Hata, PharmD ’07, fourth-year COP students Vinh Bui and Vincent Truong, first-year COP student Miranda Hirmez, Pharmacy Coordinator Christine M. Nguyen, and WesternU Pharmacy Director Preeti Kotha, PharmD, administered more than 225 flu shots.
