WesternU names COMP alumnus Rob Warren Chief Medical Officer of its medical centers

Western University of Health Sciences has named Rob Warren, DO ’01, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of its medical centers in Pomona and Rancho Cucamonga.

Warren is a 2001 graduate of the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, and did his family medicine residency training at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas, where he was Chief Resident. Following his residency, Warren served in various roles within academic, GME, ambulatory, hospital and ER medicine. He served as director of the minor emergency department at Providence Health Science Center, and later as Associate Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency at Scott and White Memorial Hospital. He joined his alma mater as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine in 2011, serving in a clinical teaching capacity, and became Medical Director within the Medical Center at Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona.

Warren recently completed a Health Care Executive Master of Business Administration from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine.

He will serve as CMO for the Medical Center at Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona and the Medical Center at Western University of Health Sciences, Rancho Cucamonga, and for future locations as they’re developed.

The Medical Center in Pomona offers Family Medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, Pediatrics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Rheumatology to meet patients’ needs in a state-of-the-art facility.

The Medical Center in Rancho Cucamonga, at 8686 Haven Ave., Suite 200, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. 91730, offers Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine services from an interprofessional team of WesternU faculty, composed of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and students.
