WesternU Joins Consortium of Western Regional Colleges of Veterinary Medicine

Western University of Health Sciences’ College of Veterinary Medicine is one of five prominent veterinary colleges to join the Consortium of Western Regional Colleges of Veterinary Medicine. The purpose of the consortium is to collaborate in the advancement of initiatives pivotal to the development of the veterinary profession.

Veterinary deans from WesternU, Colorado State University, Oregon State University, Washington State University and University of California, Davis, met for the fist time in San Francisco in October 2011 during the inaugural regional consortium.

The consortium identified several priorities in veterinary medicine and potential areas of collaboration:
