Western University's College of Pharmacy Receives Accreditation

Western University’s College of Pharmacy has received accreditation from

the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE), the national

agency for the accreditation of professional degree programs.

“”We are very gratified to have the efforts of our faculty and staff

validated through the accreditation process,”” said Max Ray, PharmD, MS,

dean of the four-year-old college. “”We turn our attention now to a process

of continuous quality improvement to ensure that the College of Pharmacy

maintains the rigorous standards it has set for itself.””

An accreditation team visited the college in May and noted several areas

with which team members were particularly impressed, Dr. Ray said. These
