Western University to present series on youth related health at Pomona Public Library
By Monica Rodriguez, Inland Valley Daily Bulletin
A series addressing various youth related health issues will be offered on a monthly basis beginning Saturday at the Pomona Public Library.
Members of Western University of Health Sciences faculty and staff along with representatives from other community based agencies will present the information as part of the free "Healthy at Every Age: Health Information Series," said Frances Chu, associate director of reference and outreach at the University’s Harriet K. and Philip Pumerantz Library.
The series came about in part as a result of a successful pilot series offered in late 2011 and early 2012 by the university in partnership with the Pomona library.
