Western Diabetes Institute presents: Adrian V. Vella, MD, professor of medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism and Nutrition, Mayo Clinic. “Diabetes and its Complications: from Genes to Disease,” noon today, Oct. 11, 2011 in HEC – Lecture Hall I. Sponsored by a grant from The Endocrine Society’s Visiting Professorship in Endocrine Pancreas Preservation. Program supported by Merck.
Pumerantz Lecture
Dr. Robert Margolis, Managing Partner and CEO of HealthCare Partners, will be the featured speaker at the third annual Dr. Philip Pumerantz Distinguished Lectureship at Western University of Health Sciences. The lecture will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, in Lecture Hall I of the Health Education Center.
