SHPEP

WesternU is one of 13 institutions nationwide hosting Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP), encouraging underrepresented students to enter health professions.

Check out what the 80 young men and woman were experiencing during their first week with this Facebook gallery: https://www.facebook.com/WesternUniversityofHealthSciences/posts/1567892293243557

Throughout the week we also posted short videos on our social media platforms; Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, highlighting some of the hands-on activities. Be sure to look for those too.

From the College of Pharmacy:

From University Advancement:

Alumni news
On the evening of Saturday, July 1, the Alumni Office hosted a WesternU Reception in Long Beach during the California Veterinary Medical Association’s Pacific Veterinary Conference. Nearly 50 alumni, students, faculty, staff, and guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and drinks poolside at the Hyatt Regency hotel as they networked with one another. Dean Nelson took some time during the event to provide an update to those in attendance on what’s new with WesternU and the College.
