Congratulations to the Department of Physical Therapy Education faculty for achieving 100 percent membership in the American Physical Therapy Association and being recognized on page 4 of the Saturday, June 11 edition of the Daily News “E”-dition of PT 2011 Daily News from the APTA’s Annual Conference and Exposition held in National Harbor, Maryland.

Congratulations to the following faculty members on their promotions: Dr. David Min, Professor Pharmacy Practice and Administration and Dr. Sunil Prabhu, Professor Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Both David and Sunil are richly deserving of this highest level of achievement among university faculty. Their hard work, dedication and commitment to academic life were beautifully demonstrated through their promotion dossiers. We are indeed fortunate to be able to celebrate their promotions at a time when they are both contributing so richly to their respective fields.

Edwards, FNPc, WHNPc, FAANP, and colleagues (Edwards, Maradiegue, Seibert & Jasperson) have a recent publication titled “Pre and post assessment of nurse practitioner’s knowledge of hereditary colon cancer” in the July 2011 issue of the peer-reviewed Journal of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners 23(2011) 361-369.
