The College of Graduate Nursing (CGN) has reactivated its Advisory Board,

which is comprised of key executives from the nursing industry. The

purpose of the Advisory Board is to provide guidance and recommendations

for support of the CGN. The board will meet three times a year and the

first meeting was held on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, here on campus.

The first meeting was to create a comprehensive strategic plan. Some of

the key topics included: growth of CGN, and how to increase funding and

awareness for CGN. In the upcoming CGN newsletter, we will highlight

some of these members, who so willingly have committed to share their

time and energy, on a volunteer basis, in support of the goals and vision

of the CGN. If you would like more information on the CGN Advisory

Board, please contact Nick Martinez in University Advancement at (909)

469-5238. All input is welcomed and considered.
