Sheree Aston, OD, MA, Phd and Joan Sandell, DMD to Launch Interprofessional Curriculum

Western University will launch a unique Interprofessional Curriculum in which students from all disciplines will learn together in the classroom, in small group venues, and in clinical experiences with patients. Vice Provost Sheree Aston (left) OD, MA, PhD, and Director of Interprofessional Clinical Services Joan Sandell, DMD, joined Western University this summer to coordinate the successful launch of this curriculum. The university also will launch new colleges of Dental Medicine, Graduate Biomedical Sciences, Optometry, and Podiatric Medicine by 2009, housed in new buildings at the eastern edge of campus.
