Registration opens for WesternU Preview Day
Registration is open for the eighth WesternU Preview Day on Saturday, January 21, 2012, highlighting health education opportunities offered at Western University of Health Sciences.
Preview Day, held in and around WesternU’s Health Education Center (HEC), 701 E. Second St., Pomona, will provide prospective students the opportunity to get more information about a health professions program of interest, hear about the admissions process, learn about financial aid, see curriculum firsthand, discover how to become a competitive applicant, and meet current students and faculty.
A resource fair will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Esplanade area in front of HEC, featuring a special podiatric medicine demonstration workshop. Participants will receive an overview of WesternU from 9:30-10 a.m. Prospective students will then break into college-specific sessions, followed by optional campus tours. College-specific breakout sessions include presentations, student panels, and admissions Q&As.
