Pizza sales to benefit hospitalized kids

The Josh Project, which provides stuffed animals and a children’s books to kids at children’s hospitals, is holding a fundraiser through JoJo’s Pizza Kitchen, 2923 Chino Ave., in Chino Hills.

Half the money spent Wednesday on pizza or pasta bought there or delivered will go to the Josh Project. The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; phone number is (909) 464-2222.

You have to mention the Josh Project for it to benefit.

The project was begun locally by two veterinary students at Western University of Health Sciences three years ago. The gifts, which include a plush golden retriever named Josh, help ease the anxiety of kids undergoing hospital procedures. Read the full article >>
