If you’re a licensed physician assistant wanting to pursue a master’s

degree but feel you don’t have the time, Western University: A Graduate

University of Health Sciences, has an online program for you.

It is called the Master of Science in Health Sciences – Licensed Physician

Assistant Track (MSHS-LPAT) program. It’s completely online – students

need never set foot on campus. Graduates receive a master of science

degree in health sciences.

No other California university or college offers an online master’s

program for licensed physician assistants.

“”This program is designed for the working physician

assistant,”” said Michael Burney, MS, PA-C, chairman of Western

University’s Master of Science in Health Professions Education

program. “”The courses are online, so students can complete the program

from home. They can work around their busy professional schedule and they

don’t have to spend time commuting to campus.””

The master’s degree program takes two years to complete and costs just

$225 per unit (at 33 units, total tuition and fees are only $7,705).

Financial aid is available.

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree, be a licensed physician

assistant and have a minimum combined grade point average (undergraduate
