New Executive Director of Human Resources joins WesternU

Howard Pardue, the former head of human resources at Claremont

University Consortium, has joined Western University of Health Sciences

as its executive director of Human Resources.

Mr. Pardue said he is enthusiastic to be joining the university and

is looking forward to its continued growth.

“”I think Western University is without question one of the premier

health sciences universities in the region and in the country,”” Howard

said. “”I think it’s a wonderful opportunity to join a visionary

university under extraordinary leadership.””

Prior to joining Claremont, Mr. Pardue was vice president at

Georgetown College in Georgetown, Ky. and vice president/managing

director of the Winston-Salem/Greensboro, N.C. offices of Right

Management Consultants, an international career and human resources

consulting company. He also served as vice president of human resources

for Summit Communications, utilizing his extensive experience in

counseling and coaching senior executives.

Mr. Pardue received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Virginia

Tech and earned his master’s degree in organizational management from

Columbus University.
