Josh Kit makes medical stays for children easier

A group of veterinary students at Western University of Health Sciences has made the medical stays of a group of children just a little bit easier.

The students raised the money to buy "Josh Kits" – which consist of a plush, huggable golden retriever named Josh and an uplifting children’s book, "I’ll Be OK."

About 100 of the kits were distributed to young patients at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital two weeks ago. Some of the vet students also read the books to the patients. Read the full story >>
