About 250 golfers, students, faculty and donors took over Robinson Ranch Golf Course in Santa Clarita June 11 as Good Neighbor Pharmacy (GNP) and the Institute for Community Pharmacy (ICP) co-hosted the 6th Annual GNP/ICP Scholarship Golf Tournament.

Proceeds from the tournament benefit the GNP/ICP Scholarship Fund, which provides $10,000 scholarships to five WesternU College of Pharmacy and five USC School of Pharmacy students interested in pursuing careers as independent community pharmacists. To date, approximately $860,000 has been given out in scholarships to students at WesternU and USC.

WesternU students Daniel Liou, Scott Ingstad and Kim-Oanh Tran (bottom right photo) and Kristina Reyes and Yen-Mey Hayes (not pictured), received the scholarships this year.
