College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (COMP) Dean Clinton Adams, DO, MPA, FACHE, has been named Vice President of Clinical Affairs at Western University of Health Sciences.

Dr. Adams will continue to serve as COMP dean while taking on the added responsibilities of the newly created position, managing all aspects of operations and planning for WesternU’s COMP Northwest Campus (COMP NW) in Lebanon, Ore. and any future osteopathic medicine school sites, as well as the planning development and operations of WesternU’s Healthcare Practice Plan, including: health care services, clinical services, and patient care services, said WesternU Provost and COO Benjamin Cohen, DO.

“Dr. Adams was selected as the inaugural incumbent for this vital position based on his extraordinary milestone achievements for COMP during his tenure as Dean. I look forward to Clint’s continued leadership for COMP, COMP NW, and his oversight of the University’s health care and practice plan initiatives,” Cohen said. “Ultimately, Clint’s appointment will usher a new episode for WesternU – one focused on providing the best, integrated care for the University’s local community and the neighboring cities within the Inland Empire, which is a win-win for all: WesternU’s patients and their families, and its health professions students and faculty.”
