College of Veterinary Medicine to host open house

Western U’s College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) will once again throw open its doors to the community during its sixth annual Open House, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 2, on the WesternU campus.

The Aquarium of the Pacific’s Aquarium on Wheels returns to the daylong affair, along with K-9 unit demonstrations, shelter pet adoptions, pet microchipping and pet vaccinations.

CVM students will host booths on pet care and provide tours of the college and Banfield, The Pet Hospital. Food vendors will include Subway, Wienerschnitzel, Carl’s Jr. and WesternU’s Outtakes Caf
