Banfield, The Pet Hospital of Western University Opens Doors

Banfield, The Pet Hospital of Western University held a grand opening Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008 with tours and a barbecue lunch.

The hospital, open to WesternU students, staff, faculty and administration, has four exam rooms, a large treatment area and two surgery rooms. About 17 College of Veterinary Medicine students are on rotation in the hospital. Students on surgery and medicine rotations also care for rescue group animals.

The hospital is part of the two-story, 31,200-square-foot Banfield Veterinary Clinical Center. Banfield, The Pet Hospital of Western University is at 611 E. Second St., Pomona. Phone: 909-865-2433.
