Article on Osteopathic Medicine in Fibromyalgia Aware magazine

An article on training DOs to care for patients with fibromyalgia syndrome appeared in the Autumn 2008 edition (volume 17) of the National Fibromyalgia Association’s Fibromyalgia Aware magazine. It’s author, Michael Seffinger, DO, associate professor and interim chair of the Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Department in the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, wrote it at the request of the Association as part of a series of articles on osteopathic medical care for patients with this condition. An estimated 10 million Americans suffer from firbromyalgia, and the magazine’s circulation is about 55,000.
