2025 WesternU Alumni Reunion provides an evening of connection and celebration

WesternU alumni returned to the Pomona campus Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, for a memorable evening of connection, celebration, and community. The WesternU Alumni Reunion featured college open houses and receptions, simulation lab tours, and exclusive campus store discounts, culminating in a special dinner hosted by the Office of Alumni & Family Engagement and the Alumni Leadership Board.

From 3 to 5 p.m., alumni and guests toured campus facilities, met faculty, and reconnected with classmates. The Reunion Dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. celebrated WesternU pride with recognition of outstanding alumni, opportunity drawings, and heartfelt moments shared among friends and colleagues.

During the evening, WesternU honored its 2025 Outstanding Alumni Award recipients for their professional excellence, service, and embodiment of the University’s values. Honorees included Dr. C. Colby Gage (DMD ‘13, College of Dental Medicine), Dr. Farid Didari (DPM ‘13, College of Podiatric Medicine), Dr. Christine Pham (OD ‘13, College of Optometry), Dr. Megan Nguyen (PharmD ‘00, College of Pharmacy), and Dr. Catherine Azubuike (DNP ‘13, College of Graduate Nursing). From the College of Health Sciences, recipients were Andrea Quezada (MSHS ‘17), Dr. Lauren Nicho (DPT ‘21), Dr. James Zapata (PA ‘19), and Andrew Eusebio (MSMS ‘22).
